Day 2 the writing has begun

It was a great day to write, I wrote for a little over 2 hours yesterday about “I, We and All Principals” and today I’m planning on writing for 30 min to keep the schedule going. I’m still figuring out what to record in the video logs and to be honest I stayed home all day yesterday and didn’t leave so it would of been a pretty boring video of me just sitting there typing away.

I promise as I progress with these video logs they will get better and have more value. I am working getting the technology down as I go so I will be able to do video interviews of experts who I am learning from, providing more content in the video’s and so much more.

CHALLENGES SO FAR: I had a problem with audio yesterday and I found a starter solution I had purchased a few months back that was cost effective to do better audio with my video vs. spending $100’s if not $1,000’s of dollars on audio equipment.

Here is what I purchased to be able to record better audio while recording video on my iPhone

Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone

and for the iPhone adaptor

You do need both which I did find out through trial and error because the jack on the iPhone doesn’t take a standard audio connection. You have to purchase this adaptor for it to work.

Don’t get me wrong if someone would like to buy me a Rode http://www.rodemic.com/mics/lavalier for recording that would be awesome! Seriously 🙂

That was the first challenge I have had since starting down this road, which is technology, there are so many choices which I am sure most of you know. As you do more research costs start to increase as you look for better quality, which can get very expensive.
